The floorboards underneath Jouric's feet give way, and he falls down onto a patch of dirt. His bracelet lights up, and where his forbidden action should be, it shows a dot, which increases or decreases in size based on where his arm is positioned.
"Yeah, your bracelet can double as a metal detector. Underneath the dirt is a metal ball which will explode and kill you if you can't destroy it! You'd better hurry. You have 1 minute!"
A shovel drops down beside Jouric, and he immediately picks it up and digs with incredible speed! The countdown continues and he soon has 50 seconds, then 40, 30, 20... As he makes it to the 10 second mark, he hits something! He tries to dig it up, but rather than a metal ball... it looks more like a... thin spearhead! Suddenly, it shoots up out of the ground, and stick into his chest, opening up and shoving multiple spikes out through his body. In one swift motion, it pulls him down into the dirt. Merui walks over and covers his body with dirt.
